Killington non-skiing Snow Report Friday March 16
Freeriding, Killington, Skiing, Snow Report, SnowboardingShowers, low lying clouds and fog and 42* @ 12:30
No skiing today and I cant seem to find anyone who was brave enough to head out this afternoon. It looks like the window of opportunity to ski today was the first two hrs of operation. After that showers, low clouds and fog moved it. I’m sure the snow is soft and the skiing is decent, but showers and fog aren’t my cup of tea at this point in the season.
Enough about today, lets talk about how nice this weekend will be. This weekend is forecasted to be a glorious bluebird weekend with temps in the 50′s and 60′s. Here’s the NWS forecast at 3132″. It’s supposed to be really bluebird and warm all next week too. If you have sick days stored up that you wanted to use, make those plans now.

This St. Patty’s Day weekend should make for great spring skiing. Get up here before mountain operations starts to shrink down. As of now all areas are operating. Don’t know what next weekend will bring, so get here soon!
Jonathan Celauro started skiing when he was four and still hasn't quite figured it out yet. After college, he moved to Killington and now 16 yrs later, each comprised of 100+ day ski seasons, he's still trying to grasp the whole skiing concept. At this point he imagines his best option is to just go with the flow. "I still find myself dreaming of big mountain lines and deep powder snow." J.C. Shop Our Online Store
