Killington Snow Report Monday March 12 *Spring has Sprung**

Freeriding, Killington, Skiing, Snow Report, Snowboarding, Uncategorized

Such a nice day! Perfect spring conditions.

Overcast to bluebird sunny, 52*, light wind

Wow, what a day! Sunny skies and soft snow. Perfect skiing/riding as the snow wasn’t horribly  sticky, yet completely edgeable.

I didn’t get up to K Peak, just runs off Superstar and SPE. Over at Bear, the snow was more lumpy and softer. Not really worth repeating. Grisly had some super smooth corn snow. Best ROTD was by far Skyehawk. Really nice corn snow, especially on skiers right. The snow was so smooth and edgeable. I could of skied that every run and been completely happy.

Other than that I skied a few Superstar’s which was nice, especially when it was down to the base. Same with Panic/Needles Eye. Anything that had natural snow on it was sticky, so no woods. Anything with a manmade base skied super well. This weeks looks to be warm mostly every day. Hope everyone gets a chance to enjoy it.

Fantastic corn snow on Grisly

Superstar Glacier looking strong

Jonathan Celauro Jonathan Celauro started skiing when he was four and still hasn't quite figured it out yet. After college, he moved to Killington and now 16 yrs later, each comprised of 100+ day ski seasons, he's still trying to grasp the whole skiing concept. At this point he imagines his best option is to just go with the flow. "I still find myself dreaming of big mountain lines and deep powder snow." J.C. Shop Our Online Store
