Killington Snow Report Tuesday March 14

My Buddy Owen Murphy harvesting corn on Upper Wildfire

Mostly cloudy, 48*, light wind. Excellent spring skiing weather

Today was a fantastic ski day. There wasn’t a lot of grooming as temps haven’t been below freezing at night, so the snow set up on itself making for some great afternoon corn. Superstar and lower Skyelark were left ungroomed and opened around noon after they had time to soften in the sun. Bear skied well. Basically anything that was ungroomed skied well; Grisly, Wildfire, OL, Superstar and lower Skyelark were all good choices. Anything that was groomed skied more mushy and softer.

The forecast for the rest of the week  is looking above average with highs in upper 40′s. The weekend is looking like high’s in the lower to mid 60′s. Get up here and don’t forget your sunscreen!

Jonathan Celauro Jonathan Celauro started skiing when he was four and still hasn't quite figured it out yet. After college, he moved to Killington and now 16 yrs later, each comprised of 100+ day ski seasons, he's still trying to grasp the whole skiing concept. At this point he imagines his best option is to just go with the flow. "I still find myself dreaming of big mountain lines and deep powder snow." J.C. Shop Our Online Store
