Thanks to Killington for reopening the K1 Gondola and North Ridge Triple for April 14

Snow Report

This was an unbelievable week of skiing and riding at Killington.  The snow started falling Monday morning and snowed all day and into Tuesday.  When the snow was done we had received 19″ inches of new snow (the biggest snow fall this season).  We all kept saying – it has to snow.  And it did!!! Killington worked with the new snow by opening back up the K1 Gondola Tuesday for access to all the trails on Killington Peak, SkyePeak and Snowdon.  Awesome powder skiing all week  and then sunshine arrived on Friday and Spring skiing was here –   finally.   Skiers and riders were everywhere on the trails and enjoying themselves at the Umbrella Bars or BBQing with friends in the parking lot.  Definitely hats off to Killington.   I did get out myself a couple days this week.  It was awesome.  Everyone was having a wonderful time.  How could you not!!!!!  Lorraine

Lorraine Torrey The Torrey family, owners and operators of Basin Sports since 1991, are determined to continue providing an unmatched experience, both in the store and on the slopes. In the winter we ski daily and we are constantly testing new gear, sampling the conditions, and sniffing out powder stashes. Feel free to ask us any questions that you may have, we love to talk about skiing, snowboarding, cycling, hiking, bootcamp and even snowshoeing. www.basinski.com
