Sunny and mid 60′s for another bluebird ski day

Snow Report

Again, I had to escape the office to enjoy the snow and sun.  The end is nearing for lift serviced skiing so I had to take advantage.  There was more walking required today to get over to Skyelark but once you got to the snow it was very nice spring snow.  I assume I took my last run down lower skyelark today.  The headwall on Superstar was very thin but I decided to walk the short distance to the good snow.  There still is snow piled on top to push down over the short thin area which  I expect they will do for the weekend.   You can still ski right onto the Superstar Quad.  Skiers and riders are enjoying the nice weather, snow surfaces and the social time of spring.  Remember to stop in to visit when you are in the area.  As the summer events are posted we will update as well.  I did hear today about a potential snow storm the early part of next week at the higher elevations so could this storm be like last week??????  Stay Tuned.  Lorraine

Lorraine Torrey The Torrey family, owners and operators of Basin Sports since 1991, are determined to continue providing an unmatched experience, both in the store and on the slopes. In the winter we ski daily and we are constantly testing new gear, sampling the conditions, and sniffing out powder stashes. Feel free to ask us any questions that you may have, we love to talk about skiing, snowboarding, cycling, hiking, bootcamp and even snowshoeing. www.basinski.com
