September 1st, sunny high 80's
Well it looks like we have two more days of recordbreaking heat and then it starts to cool down with temps in the mid to high 60's for the weekend.  So far it looks like Hurricane Earl is not going to make it to Vermont so come to Killington and enjoy a long weekend full of outdoor activities!  Many of the area businesses have built their hay sculptures and they look fabulous.  True Wheels has received some 2011 bikes and I have started to put out the NEW Arcteryx and Patagonia clothing and NEW kids clothing.  The 2010-2011 skis have arrived.  All the K2 skis have been revamped with the rocker technology.  As the equipment arrives we  load it onto our on-line store www.basinshopping.com.  Next season our rental fleet will be brand new K2 men's and women's skis all with rocker technology as well as brand new Salomon boots.  Stay tuned here for more events throughout the summer. Remember anyone looking to purchase or rent a property for next ski season e-mail Bret at bretskivt@yahoo.com and he will be glad to help you.

Enjoy Summer, Christine

Basin is open year-round so make sure and stop in when you are in the area.
