Today was a day that you just had to head out to the slopes (even I ventured out to ski with friends). The Killington snowmakers worked very hard all week allowing more terrain and lifts to open spreading out the skiers/riders. Also, mother nature gave us a couple inches a day totalling 6 inches this past week. This weekend Snowshed, Highline, Lower East Fall and Superstar opened up. I started my day over on the Snowdon quad for 4-5 runs top to bottom, then we had to check out Lower East Fall to the Canyon Quad making its debut. A couple runs in the North Ridge area as well. The snow conditions were very carvable. Being that I ski mid-week I had to be more attentive to those around me but that didn’t stop me for making turns today. Lorraine
The Torrey family, owners and operators of Basin Sports since 1991, are determined to continue providing an unmatched experience, both in the store and on the slopes. In the winter we ski daily and we are constantly testing new gear, sampling the conditions, and sniffing out powder stashes. Feel free to ask us any questions that you may have, we love to talk about skiing, snowboarding, cycling, hiking, bootcamp and even snowshoeing. www.basinski.com
