The Norrona Lyngen Dri2 Thermo60 Jacket is super technical, waterproof, and packable. The Lyngen is a fully taped and insulated jacket made with recycled materials. Although it’s rated 5/6 waterproof by Norrona, it is still incredibly breathable- great for high-intensity activities like ski touring. The Lyngen Dri2 Thermo60 is a hybrid between a shell and insulated jacket, with an emphasis on weight, feel, and thermal properties. This jacket has a technical fit and articulated sleeves for a great fit- this jacket is great to fit underneath or underneath another layer or shell and is helmet compatible.
dri2
dri2 is a 2-layer, ultra-thin, stretchy, non-porous, hydrophilic membrane that provides high levels of waterproofness and breathability.
Technical Specifications: Waterproof: min. 20,000 mm* Breathability: Very Good min. 20,000 ** Windproof: 100% * ISO811- test ** JIS-L 1099 B2-inverted cup
thermo
“Thermo” is Norrona’s general term for any synthetic insulation. It gives great thermal insulation to help the body to maintain its temperature, minimizing energy loss. Norrona uses synthetic insulation as an alternative to down, as it keeps its functionality even in wet conditions.
While moisture is the weak point of down, synthetic insulation shows its strength during sweat-inducing activities, when being exposed to rain or under continuous humid conditions. Synthetic insulation provides a very good warmth-to-weight ratio and is easy to maintain.
The number behind Thermo refers to the weight in gr/sqm of the insulation used in the product. The suppliers of our synthetic insulation are Primaloft and Pinneco.
Technical Fit
Typically made for mountain biking, mountaineering, and climbing. The fit is balanced between allowing multiple layers underneath without restricting movement or view when climbing. This jacket will fit best with various thickness mid layers or insulation, preferably another technical fit or regular fit garment.

Our responsibility
As a family-owned outdoor company founded on our love for nature, high
quality, and long-lasting products, environmental responsibility has been in
our DNA since 1929. We believe the only way to run a company is through a
sustainable platform, and we're transparent in our efforts and progression
through our public 2020 roadmap.
Our test team
Since 1929, our philosophy has been to embrace the knowledge and
experience of the ones at the core. That's why we always work closely with our
versatile team of ambassadors, testers, and adventurers when developing our
products. Many of our styles are direct results of close co-operation and
lengthy processes to ensure we equip them and you with functional,
high-quality products.
Our craftsmanship
The craftsmanship of product development has always been an essential
foundation. From concept to creation, all products are designed in-house at
the Norrøna House right outside Oslo, Norway. Most of our products have a
three-year design process that enables hours and hours of testing,
adjustments, testing, and more adjustment before they're ready to go on
adventures with their new owners.
