The Obermeyer Bolide Insulated Jacket is an extremely durable 100% polyester weave and hydrophobic insulation make Bolide a tough dependable friend. The 10,000mm waterproof- breathable technology provides exceptional performance while keeping him warm and dry. An everyday jacket that is a great companion whether on the ski slopes or while waiting for the school bus. Loaded with features to keep him warm with fleece-lined pockets, collar and ear warmers, powder skirt, and a working compass. Integrated clips keep his mittens handy and dry. Our “I-Grow”™ Extended Wear System system adjusts to his growth extending the life of this jacket’s usefulness.

Led by an aeronautical engineer with an insatiable appetite for problem solving and a tight-knit team of technical clothing innovators, we’ve done it for years, creating the down parka, mirrored sunglasses, seam sealing, soft shell jackets, turtlenecks, and much more. 

We spend our time developing new ideas because we’re thinkers and tinkerers and testers. We take the time to do things the right way. We labor over distilling complexity into the simplest forms.
