The Norrona Lyngen Alpha90 Vest is the go-to when you need a little more insulation without unnecessary weight or volume. The vest is a perfect choice for touring in moderate weather or wearing underneath a shell when it starts to get chilly. Pertex Quantum face fabric is durable, windproof, and recycled; Polartec Alpha insulation has great warmth and breathability without the weight.
Pertex Quantum
Pertex Quantum uses incredibly fine yarns, precisely woven to provide a very lightweight yet strong and durable fabric for its weight. Its softness allows down and synthetic insulation to fully loft. This fabric is windproof.
Polartec Alpha
Polartec Alpha starts with a highly efficient insulation fabric, which is based on the Polartec Thermal Pro High Loft technology platform. This technology is uniquely suited to create warmth without weight, and exceptional breathability, compressibility and dry times via high loft fibers in a low density knit. Current market synthetic insulations are not breathable enough to handle the ”go” phases of most backcountry pursuits. They are typically additional garments that must be carried for use during a static period. Polartec Alpha excels at providing comfort for users on the move.

This is Norrona’s third largest fit category for women. Typically made for skiing, snowboarding, outdoors, and hunting. The fit is made to have room for multiple extra layers plus other necessary equipment like avalanche transceivers or body protection. This garment is designed to be worn with mid layers and insulation and has enough room for storage in various internal and external pockets.

products. Many of our styles are direct results of close co-operation and
lengthy processes to ensure we equip them and you with functional,
high-quality products.
Our craftsmanship
The craftsmanship of product development has always been an essential
foundation. From concept to creation, all products are designed in-house at
the Norrøna House right outside Oslo, Norway. Most of our products have a
three-year design process that enables hours and hours of testing,
adjustments, testing, and more adjustment before they're ready to go on
adventures with their new owners.
